Changing Of The Heart ?

I remember when I was living in this Southern Christian Conservative State ( Texas ), Oops! I was accepted in to this Stock Exchange & Finance Class. My Supervisor or Teacher was a guy named Todd who let me know upfront in his office, that he doesn't like " African- Americans " ( sarcastically ) and just to let me know, I am a Quota ? I told him I understood and then I thanked him for being up front ? He looked at me with a shitty grin on his face ! Everyday three days like clock work he would call me in to his office and ask me, " How I was Coping " ?  I would sit there and talk about it and eventually we started to talk about God, Family, Sports, and Politics. When the 90 days was up, Todd stopped me from walking out the door and said, Ced ? Aren't  you even going to say good bye ? I said No, I was going to say God Bless you and your family Todd ! He said, my father taught me to hate Black People as he grin that shitty grin and then said, may be he was wrong ?
