I was born Shabazz before I knew it, I just did not read about our beloved Malcom Little, Malcom X, ( Our Shining Prince ) El-Hajj Malik- El- Shabazz one day and then decided to change my name on Jan-1992 !
I made a well informed conscious decision, that my Country will never be able to look at me the same again,
regardless if I believe Jesus is my Savior ! its an honor to wear this Royal name because it reminds me to never forget about Malcom X ! As A people we either forgot or never been taught about him and its a shame because Brother Malcom X made us Blacks feel like natural cultured (African ) Royalty, like Kings and Queens before our own ( Africa ) sold us in to slavery ! He gave us Black Men our Crowns back and I am never taking mines off ! Malcom X is the one who said, you are more then a color ? You are African American Royalty !
